Craig Jaspersen
Pipestone Plant Manager
Born in Tyler, MN and moved to Montevideo,
MN in 1967. In 1974 I graduated from Montevideo High School and
went to work in family owned business, Montevideo Block and
Tile form 1974 to 1992 when the business was sold. In
1992 I moved to Rapid City, SD and went to work at Pete Lien
and Sons in their lime plant. I then moved to Pipestone,
MN in 1997 to manage Bornhoft Concrete Pipestone.
Weston Carr
Sales
I grew up in Tyler, Mn. and graduated from
RTR in 1995. In the fall of 95 I enrolled in the Civil
Engineering Technology program at South Central Technical
College in North Mankato. After graduation from SCTC in
1997 with my Associate of Applied Science Degree I started
full-time at Bornhoft Concrete in Tyler. I am involved
with the sales of ready mix and plastic drainage tubing.
Craig Sanderson
Marshall Plant Manager
I am Craig Sanderson, manager of Bornhoft
Concrete of Marshall, Inc.
I have lived around southwest Minnesota all
my life. I graduated from Balaton High School in 1974.
For the next five years I was employed at Stewart
Concrete in Balaton, MN. There I mainly hauled ready mix.
In the winter or 1979 I went to work for a
local trucking company hauling just about anything nation wide.
In the spring of 1984 I started working for
Bornhoft Concrete in Tyler, MN either hauling ready mix or
hauling aggregate materials. A few years later, after the
company purchased plants in Balaton and Marshall, my job was
mainly supplying the three plant locations with aggregate
materials.
Due to the retirement of a couple employees
at the Marshall location, I was offered a management position
in 1994 and have been there since.
Mike Kelley
Tyler Plant Manager
I grew up on a farm north of Tyler, Mn.
Graduating from THS in 1962. I worked for the Tyler
Elevator and Tyler Concrete Products, Inc. driving ready mix
truck. I also worked for Mel Bornhoft Construction doing
ag, commercial, and residential concrete construction. In
July 1969 when Mel Bornhoft purchased Tyler Concrete Products,
Inc. I was transferred to the ready mix plant doing
maintenance, driving truck and dispatching.
Dan Scotting
Sales Manager
I grew up in Pipestone, Mn graduating from
PHS in 1989. I attended St. Cloud State University and
graduated in August 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Business Management and a Minor in Economics.
In March of 1996 I moved back to Pipestone
and worked as the Operations Manager for Pipestone Concrete.
I joined the Bornhoft Concrete Management Team in March
of 2001 when Bornhoft Concrete purchased the ready mix division
of Pipestone Concrete. I am MNDot Certified Plant Level
II Technician and also ACI Certified Field Level I Technician.
